Welcome! We’re just a couple of teachers who have been married forever and love to explore the world on a budget. With the college teaching calendar and grown kids (if you know, you know), we have been fortunate to travel a lot more the past few years. We created this site because friends and family were always asking, “Where are you now?” and requesting tips, itineraries, and advice. The teachers in us wanted a place to share what we’ve learned — from honest insights about the destinations we’ve visited, to the tips and tricks we picked up (often the hard way), to the travel resources that make our adventures smoother.
Our goal is simple: to inspire you to step outside your comfort zone, discover new places, and make the most of your time and money while exploring this incredible world. LeAnne’s philosophy is that cheaper travel = more travel, so don’t expect inspo on high-end travel, fashion, tips on traveling with kids, or trendsetting locations. If you enjoy nature, exploring, and adventures without breaking the bank, then chances are good we can help.
